    FEATHERWOOD

Featherwood  is a line of handcrafted wood jewelry I’ve developed and produced for several years, sold mainly at craft galleries and boutiques. My work in multilayered bowls and vessels can be viewed on a companion website: http://buzzcoren.com.


What began as a fun diversion 30 years ago making a few small wood boxes and jewelry items quickly became an obsession; my love for wood and woodcrafting continues to this day and I can still lose myself occasionally in a project.  I enjoy the entire process of creating this unique jewelry which gives me time and flexibility to devote to my family and still create multilayered bowls and vessels by commission.


I’m a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild and work out of my basement shop. My wife, Debbie Littledeer is an artist and printmaker whose serigraph and block prints of mountain landscapes and whimsical animals are widely enjoyed and collected: http://debbielittledeer.com. We live in western NC in view of the beautiful Black Mountains.
