I usually have an image in mind of what I want a vessel to look like before I start...pattern, shape, size and work from either a detailed full-scale layout on paper or often from memory of similar pieces. And sometimes I start cutting without a plan just to see what happpens.This is one of those, made from a leftover piece of a larger lamination.
